Samsung is holding a mysterious Exynos announcement on July 10—an update many expect will be included in the company’s upcoming Galaxy Note 4. We’re just a few months away from IFA in Berlin, so it would make sense for Samsung to get the jump on announcing the future of its Exynos line before then.
Samsung’s most recent Exynos announcement was back in February, where it announced the hexa- and octa-core Exynos 5 series. An image the company shared on its Twitter, which shows ice crystals, vaguely hints at what to expect. Perhaps the headlining feature of the next Exynos will be that it runs very cool under intensive tasks.
SamMobile is under the belief that Samsung will introduce the Exynos 5433, which is expected to feature an Intel XMM7260 Cat. 6 modem for LTE, giving the company flexibility to launch its devices in even more countries going forward. The details will be officially unveiled tomorrow (although Samsung doesn’t say the exact time), so stay tuned.
