This E3 teaser trailer for the new DOOM knocked the socks off of a lot of fans, and Bethesda promised to show off more in action at this year’s QuakeCon. Would you like to see more? Well, too bad! When Bethesda said “at QuakeCon,” it actually meant at QuakeCon, meaning exclusively. You’re going to have to fly yourself down to Dallas for Quake Con or wait like the rest of us.
The announcement comes through the BethBlog.
“Fans in attendance at QuakeCon 2014 will have the opportunity to get a sneak peek at what’s been going on with the new DOOM game from id Software,” Bethesda writes.
“This an exclusive thing we are doing for attendees as part of our Annual QuakeCon Welcome presentation. We’ll have plenty more to show everyone at a later date, but we didn’t want another QuakeCon to go by without doing something special for the amazing QC community and id supporters that have been with us for more than 20 years.”
Those who don’t attend the convention from July 17-20 will have to wait for a promised “later date” to see more. Phooey.
