Samsung Galaxy S5 Review 17

T-Mobile isn’t the only company letting people take a test drive. Samsung recently announced a new initiative that will let people in select markets try its smartphones before deciding to buy one. Samsung will provide consumers with the new Galaxy devices for up to 21 days, complete with workshops and support..

Devices included in the Samsung trial program include the Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Note 3, the Gear 2 smartwatch and the Gear Fit. Unfortunately it doesn’t yet include the company’s new Galaxy Tab S tablets, which are right up there with the best Android slates we’ve ever seen. Each device will ship with activated service, a screen protector, the appropriate charging cables and Samsung earbuds. A credit card deposit it required just to ensure you don’t go walking off with the device, and you’ll get the initial hold refunded after your trial period provided that your device is returned undamaged.

The initial test markets include Samsung Experience stores in Dallas-Fort Worth/Frisco, Texas; Houston/The Woodlands, Texas; Los Angeles/Canoga Park, California; New York, New York; and Santa Clara, California.
