Rumors of the Galaxy S5 Prime pretty much died down following the introduction of the Galaxy S5 LTE-A, which has a Quad HD display, a faster Snapdragon 805 processor and, as its name implies, access to LTE-A networks in Korea. We may still see an even more premium device from Samsung, however, and on Friday a new photo of the alleged Galaxy F surfaced.
We’re not necessarily learning anything new from this image, it almost looks like what we’ve already seen just flipped 90-degrees, but it’s definitely a better look. Note how close it looks to the Galaxy S5, though it appears that the bezels are even narrower around the edges of the phone. We can’t tell from this image, but we’re also expecting a super sharp Quad HD display to compete with the LG G3, and some sort of metal back panel.
We don’t know when Samsung plans to introduce this device, if ever, but the influx of new leaks suggests that it’s coming to market sooner rather than later. Hopefully it ends up on carriers in the U.S., too, but so far there’s no indication that it will. We’ll of course keep you in the loop as we hear more on the Galaxy F.
