Android Apps Coming to Chromebooks

Google said during Google I/O 2014 that Android apps are soon coming to Chromebooks.

One app that was demoed was Evernote, which is an Android app that Google showed as available in the Chrome OS launcher.

The company said that it’s still in the “early days” of developing this feature, but if it works it out fully, it could suddenly make the roughly one million Android applications already around available to Chrome OS – that’s huge.
