Apple may have a busy second half of the year planned. We’re already expecting the iPhone 6, a larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 phablet, the iWatch, maybe a new Apple TV and, of course, new iPads. Most rumors suggest we’ll see an iPad Air 2 and a new iPad mini with Retina display, both of which are expected to ship with Touch ID. Now we’re getting a look at what might be the real deal.

Nowhereelse.fr, which publishes a lot of Apple leaks, recently published a photo of what it called the “iPad 6.” This might be named the iPad 6, considering we started with the original iPad followed by the iPad 2, the third generation iPad, the fourth generation iPad and then the iPad Air, though Apple hasn’t really been using the numeric naming moniker with tablets.

We don’t know if this is the real deal, but that silver Touch ID ring certainly does look at home on an iPad, doesn’t it? Also — keep in mind that this site also published a “perfect replica” of the iPad Air 2 recently. While the photo’s owner didn’t refer to this unit as a replica, it could very well just be another shot of that unit.

It seems more likely this is a another replica, especially because the screen isn’t turned on and because there seem to be an endless supply of dummy units floating around lately, but we can always hold out hope that a real, fully built iPad Air 2 is making the rounds. It wouldn’t be the first time a finished Apple product leaked way ahead of time.

What do you think, real or replica? As a refresher, here’s what the faux unit looked like:
