Fire Phone vs. HTC One (M8) Spec Shootout

by Todd Haselton | June 18, 2014June 18, 2014 2:30 pm PDT

HTC’s One (M8) is one of the best Android smartphones money can buy right now, and Amazon is going to try to take it on with its new Fire Phone. How do the two devices stack up? We’ll show you.

While Amazon’s phone is loaded with unique features like Firefly and a dynamic perspective display, HTC also loaded up its device with unique features like the Duo Camera. One is metal, the other is not. One runs Android with Sense 6 and the other has a completely forked version of Google’s mobile operating system. How do the processors and screens compare? What about the size of the actual phones? That’s what we’re here for, and you can see it all for yourself in the spec tables below.

Let us know how you think the Fire Phone stacks up, OK?
