Amazon’s Fire Phone Will Support Mayday

Amazon Kindle HDX 7-Mayday

One of the best features introduced with the Kindle Fire HDX was Mayday, Amazon’s excellent customer support service that hooks you directly to an Amazon rep. And, you guessed it, it’s coming to the company’s new Fire Phone.

The feature will work exactly as it does on Amazon’s HDX tablets, only you’ll be able to access it whenever you want, over Wi-Fi or your data connection. Mayday is available for free to Fire Phone users, and can be used 24/7, 365—and it will take you 15 seconds or less to start getting help.

We demonstrated the service when it was first made available last year, and it was absolutely terrific. For those who aren’t quite up-to-speed with the latest technology, Mayday is the perfect companion, and ensures problems get fixed promptly—you don’t have to go into a store and wait in long lines, which is always good for a person’s sanity.
