Adobe has been teasing its Mighty stylus for a while now, but today the company finally unveiled the new digital pen alongside a digital ruler called Napoleon and a pair of new iPad apps. Together these new products promise to make it even easier to create beautiful content on Apple’s tablets.
The star of the show is Mighty, which features a three-sided aluminum design. Adobe’s stylus is also pressure sensitive, so the harder you press down the thicker the line you’re drawing becomes. Mighty gets paired with Napoleon in an “Ink & Slide” package that Adobe is selling for $199.99.
Adobe’s new stylus looks nice, but we’ve seen similar tech from Microsoft and 53 Design. The real trick here is what the company’s done using cloud computing. Mighty connects directly the Creative Cloud, meaning any work you do gets saved online. We saw Microsoft announce something similar with the Surface Pro 3 last month, but now iPad owners can take advantage of the cloud as well with a little help from Adobe.
