Beats Music, soon to be owned by Apple as part of the company’s Beats Electronics deal, is a pretty decent music subscription service. You’ll typically pay either $9.99 per month, or $99.99 per year, for a subscription, but there’s a way to pick one up for just $75. 9to5Mac recently noticed that Target has a huge sale on Beats Music gift cards.
If you pick up two $50 gift cards, currently priced at $37.50 each, you’ll be able to buy that one year $99.99 subscription for just $75, saving you 25 percent of the total cost. All you have to do is head to a Target store to pick up the cards. Unfortunately they aren’t sold online. 9to5Mac also noticed that you can choose to use your REDcard Target shopper card to save an additional $5, bringing the price down to just $70. That’s not too shabby, and it’s definitely worth considering if you don’t already subscribe to an unlimited music service. Keep in mind Beats is also rather universal, and can be played back on iOS, Windows Phone and Android smartphones in addition to directly on the Web.
We don’t know when the Target sale will end, but you might want to swing by a local retail outlet sometime soon if the savings piques your interest.
