Suda 51 Takes a Turn to the Dark Side for Let It Die on PlayStation 4

Suda 51 is widely known for his outlandish use of color and cel-shaded graphics. Naturally, a brutally horrific and violent beat ’em up game is not his repertoire, is it?

Think again. Let It Die is the latest from Suda 51 and it takes a much darker path than what you would normally expect him to dive into. Every object in this bloody game of survival has a point value, and every single one of these points can be used to calculate how quickly it can piece the human body and tear him asunder.

I wouldn’t exactly call it a “good” looking game. The graphics are really dated and probably not going to set any high standard for the PlayStation 4, but as with most Suda 51 games, it’s the attitude and the atmosphere that counts. Here, he is clearly channeling Rockstar’s Manhunt and maybe a bit of The Evil Within.

What do you think? Let It Die is a PlayStation 4 exclusive, and it is bound to scare your pants off with all the violent gore of great splatter games of the past.
