The Moto X is one of the best Android smartphones on the market, but until recently the device only offered either 16GB or 32GB of storage without a microSD slot to add extra space. Now, storage conscious customers can finally commit to the Moto X as well, thanks to a new 64GB option on the Moto Maker website.
You can order the 64GB Moto X just like you would any other model, though it will raise the off-contract price from $349.99 up to $449.99. Just boot up the Moto Maker and design your smartphone, then pick 64GB in the storage tab. The new Moto X variant was also available as part of the company’s Try Then Buy promotion, though that offer ran out within just a few hours and is no longer available.
The Moto X is a great smartphone, even if it doesn’t have the same specs as super high-end flagships. It offers some of the smartest software around and the promise of quick Android updates. Then again, it might be worth holding off a little longer. With a larger Moto X+1 expected to launch later this summer you may just regret ordering last year’s smaller model.
