Here’s Five Minutes of Multiplayer Footage From The Division

by Brandon Russell | June 9, 2014June 9, 2014 2:15 pm PDT

We’re pretty disappointed Ubisoft’s The Division was delayed until next year, but that didn’t stop Microsoft from showing off some fresh new gameplay at its conference today. The game was already looking promising, and a nice break from the typical first-person shooters we’re expecting later this year, but this latest footage really plays to the game’s strengths. The graphics, as expected look pretty spectacular, and many of the ideas being implemented look really great, too.

The demo Microsoft showed onstage was heavily scripted, but it was actually all multiplayer gameplay. Ubisoft actually has a pretty conference scheduled for three today, where I’m sure we’ll get more info on both Assassin’s Creed and The Division. Until then, enjoy five minutes of pure gameplay footage.
