We already saw the HTC One (E8) pop up on HTC’s site not too long ago and, today, the company officially announced the phone and filled us in on all of the details.
The HTC One (E8) is basically the plastic cousin of the HTC One (M8), offering some of the same features but without the aluminum body or the Duo Camera setup on the One (M8). It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense 6 on a Snapdragon 801 processor. It’s also equipped with BoomSound speakers, a 13-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 16GB of storage expandable with up to a 128GB microSD card, 2GB of RAM, LTE and dual-SIM support in some markets and a 2,600mAh battery.
The One (E8) will make its debut in China before spreading to other parts of the world. The company did not announce pricing for the One (E8), but we’ll fill you in when we hear more.
