Apple HealthKit For iOS Unveiled!

Apple just announced HealthKit, a feature we originally thought might be called Healthbook. It will allow you to monitor your health, like calories burned, steps taken, blood glucose levels and more. Apple said it worked with the Mayo Clinic to develop HealthKit but did not yet provide information on how it will gather information. Perhaps a new gadget is coming? Look for HealthKit in iOS 8 when it launches.
