Apple has a new way of easily synchronizing your documents between devices, announcing a new service called iCloud Drive. The company is currently on-stage in San Francisco detailing new features in OS X Yosemite, and there are some big changes on the way. Apple is really making a point of making its desktop and mobile software working together, but it’s also making it easier to sync between different machines.

With iCloud Drive, all of your documents sync across all your devices, negating the need to use competing cloud storage solutions. There’s not much new here to pry you away from something like Dropbox or Google Drive, but it provides a solution for Apple users that should work seamlessly across multiple devices—even if you have a Windows computer.
