Pokemon Emerald

So all the Pokemon rage is about the Nintendo 3DS remakes Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but would you believe even another remake could be on the horizon that will be even better?

Nintendo of Japan has trademarked Pokemon Delta Emerald as of May 2nd, indicating that a remake of Pokemon Emerald is currently in the works. Pokemon Emerald combines Ruby and Sapphire onto a single GBA cartridge, making it the Pokemon Yellow, Crystal, and Platinum of its day.

In other words, this potential Pokemon Delta Emerald will have all of the content that will be split across the other two games and even more storyline, areas, and Pokemon besides. With just a few missing Pokemon, you’ll be getting a lot more game for your buck should this trademark ever materialize. You can get those Pokemon from those who find them in X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are expected to be released worldwide this November, but now that we know of this better game, will you be holding off? Something tells me Nintendo was really trying to keep this one a secret.
