Normally we don’t cover all of the regular software updates for every single phone, but this is particularly important for last year’s flagship HTC One. Sprint and Verizon are now rolling out software updates that finally bring the brand new Sense 6 user interface, first introduced on the new HTC One (M8) to the One (M7), and it’s a sign of HTC’s promise to deliver new software to older hardware through its HTC Advantage program.

That means the awesome new camera user interface that’s easier to navigate than ever, the completely redesigned gallery, TV application, mail, weather and settings applications, changes to the home screen that allow you to set a wallpaper or deploy widgets easier and more. On Verizon, the update also includes Wi-Fi improvements. Unfortunately, there are limitations to the processor that prevent the addition of stuff like Extreme Power Saving Mode, but Sense 6 is an awesome improvement that we think most One (M7) users will love.

You should notice the update rolling out over the next several days. As always, be sure to back up your phone first.
