This week’s free game from the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection is one I’ve already owned and played through multiple times on my PlayStation 3. However, what’s to stop me from playing through it one more time while I am on the go?
The indie sensation LIMBO will be available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers this week, but just the Vita version. Sorry, but there is no cross buy support for this game, but you should have already picked it up for the PlayStation 3 during one of the many sales which bring it down to under $4.
LIMBO is the tale of a young boy with a big head and beady eyes as he makes his way through a horrific monochrome world, silhouetted against horrors and the most unimaginable of frights. Giant spiders, bear traps, deadly pits, spikes, and those hideous glowing worms which infest his brain! Oh, that’s the scariest part in this whole game. Everything can and will kill him once or twice, but that is the purpose of LIMBO: keep pressing on, because what else is there to do? It’s limbo.
LIMBO is already a beloved indie classic, and we’re sure that Vita owners who haven’t gotten to play it yet will be ecstatic to finally give it a shot. Anybody out there match this description? Will this be your first time jumping, bounding, and dying to get to the other side of LIMBO?
