Yesterday Sprint and T-Mobile revealed plans to sell the gold Galaxy S5 on May 30, though Verizon and AT&T were quiet on possible launch dates. @evleaks quickly filled that void with a leaked image of the gold Galaxy S5 for Verizon, though he didn’t provide any context on when it might launch. Presumably, however, we’ll see it around May 30.
Earlier today, @evleaks also published another device that looks like it’s heading to Verizon, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0. Samsung’s new tablet was announced in early April and the Wi-Fi-only version officially went on sale for $269.99 on May 1, though we haven’t yet heard any news on 4G LTE-enabled models. As a quick refresher, the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 offers an 8-inch display, 1.5GB of RAM, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 4,450mAh battery.
