HTC One Remix In Blue Headed for Verizon, Looks Like One Mini 2

A supposed shot of Verizon’s HTC One Remix has been outed, and it looks a lot like that HTC One mini 2 that was just announced earlier this week. For a name as clunky and unimaginative as One mini 2, we’re quite pleased with the Remix moniker chosen by Verizon—though it’s still unclear if this will have some music-centric focus, as the name suggest. That’s looking unlikely, however, given the information we have.

As far as “mini” phones are concerned, the HTC One mini 2 is one of the nicest we’ve seen, and certainly capable of hanging around in the superphone era. It sports a 4.5-inch display, 13-megapixel camera, Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (microSD expandable), NFC, and a 2100mAh battery. See? Not too bad at all, though screen prudes will likely gawk at the device’s 720p display. Otherwise it’s not a bad option at all; it’s worth noting, however, that the device does lack the One (M8) Duo Camera, which was one of its flagship features.

When the HTC One mini 2 was unveiled, HTC showed us what it looked like in grey, silver and gold. However, it appears the device headed to Verizon is coming in a bright blue, giving it that extra flair. It’s difficult to tell precisely how that’ll translate to the Remix with the mockup below, but we imagine it’ll look quite nice given HTC’s excellent design. Still no word on when this one will be available, but it can’t be all that far off now.
