Samsung’s next tablet could be its most impressive yet, a 10.5-inch high-end Galaxy Tab S to match its flagship Galaxy S smartphones. We’ve already seen a few leaked photos of the device surface online, but today a fresh batch of pictures arrived as the Wi-Fi version of the upcoming tablet passed through the FCC.
The new Galaxy Tab S photos don’t reveal anything new about the alleged AMOLED slate besides confirming its 10.5-inch screen and Wi-Fi connectivity. Based on previous leaks we’re expecting the device to pack a 2560×1600-pixel display, an Octa-core Exynos 5 processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM and run Android 4.4.2 with Samsung’s own software on top. The design looks the same as it did in the last leak, including those bizarre nubs on the back of the device.
The full Galaxy Tab S lineup is expected to include 10.5 and 8.4-inch models as well as a massive 13.3-inch “Warhol” variant. There’s still no word on when these new devices will receive an official announcement, though after passing through the FCC it may not be much longer before they hit the market.
