Motorola had plenty of news to share on Tuesday, including the new low-cost Moto E and a 4G LTE version of the Moto G. The company also unveiled a third device in the form of the Moto G Ferrari Edition, though for now it’s only available in Mexico.
The Moto G Ferrari Edition offers all of the features that the Moto G with LTE model has, including the microSD card slot for adding up to 32GB of additional storage, but adds a durable kevlar back panel. It comes equipped with the same 720p display, a 5-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. It costs a whopping $4999 pesos (roughly $388) off-contract, though the company will throw in a Flip Shell case for free.
Like we said, the Moto G Ferrari edition is only available in Mexico, which makes sense given the Moto G’s popularity in South America. The news will probably come as a disappointment to Ferrari fans around the world, though hopefully Motorola will expand availability for the niche device in the near future.
