iPhone 6 Concept Shows iPad Design, Brilliant Colors

Thanks to several leaked schematics, accessory builders in Asia are already starting to print molds and dummy units that show us what the iPhone 6 might look like. Those leaks suggest a familiar iPad Air and iPad mini design language, but what if Apple added a few colors, and got rid of the ugly antenna bands? That’s the sort of concept that has been envisioned in two new iPhone 6 videos.

The usual caveat applies: these are created by artists who are simply drafting up what a new iPhone might look like. They aren’t official from Apple – though the Samsung music in both clips should be a dead giveaway to that. While we love the brilliant, popping aluminum colors, we doubt Apple is going to take that route this time around. The concepts feature a 5-inch screen, too, which doesn’t fit with rumors that Apple is building 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhones. Also, you’ll note an iRing is featured in one clip, which really doesn’t seem to be on Apple’s roadmap at all right now.

We don’t think the core designs are too far off, since they’re rather similar to the leaked schematics we’ve already seen and look akin to an iPad Air, but smaller. In any case, enjoy the videos for entertainment purposes only.
