The LG G3 is just around the corner, but today we’re getting a sneak peek at what the device could offer courtesy of the LG Isai FL, a Japanese variant of the flagship smartphone announced on Thursday as a KDDI exclusive. There’s no official confirmation that the G3 and Isai FL will come with identical hardware, but they sound awfully similar based on what we know so far.
The Isai FL packs a 5.5-inch QHD display, the same exact screen that LG confirmed for the upcoming G3 earlier today. It also offers a 13-megapixel camera, 32GB of storage with microSD support and a 3000mAh battery, all of which lines up with the latest LG G3 rumors. The Japanese smartphone’s design even looks pretty similar to leaked images of the G3.
LG isn’t expected to unveil the G3 until later this month at a global event set for May 27, but today’s news offers a pretty clear look at what to expect from the flagship phone. It’s possible the South Korean company has a few surprises saved just for the LG G3, but with three weeks to go before it’s announced we’re starting to think we already know exactly what to expect from the upcoming smartphone.
