Last year Samsung followed the Galaxy S4 launch with the Galaxy S4 Zoom, the Galaxy S4 Active and the Galaxy S4 mini. It very likely has similar plans this year. So far, the company has launched the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy K Zoom, which slightly resembles its flagship brother, so we’re still waiting to hear more on what else is coming. Now, @evleaks has posted a screenshot of Samsung’s website that shows a “Galaxy S5 Dx,” that resembles the Galaxy S5.

Is this the Galaxy S5 mini, as @evleaks asks?

It seems certainly plausible. We can see that it still looks like it belongs in the Galaxy S5 family, though lacks some features, like the heart rate monitor on the back. Also, it looks like the phone may launch in gray, blue, white, orange and yellow, at least according to the site, and perhaps other colors are on the way, too. Our only gripe is that the “Dx” in the image looks a little off to us. While the image of the phones seem more believable, the naming seems funky.

Last year’s Galaxy S4 mini was a watered-down version of the Galaxy S4 with a smaller screen and a more affordable price point. That’s what we think we’ll see this year, too, we just don’t know when.

Update: And here is a supposed solo shot of the S5 Dx.
