Sony is holding another massive flash sale on the PlayStation Network this weekend. It seems like company just can’t give games away fast enough these days.
This latest Flash Sale puts up a handful of the most popular games from Rockstar and 2K Games for just $5 each. Red Dead Redemption, Grant Theft Auto IV, Max Payne 3, BioShock, BioShock 2, L.A. Noire, Midnight Club Los Angeles, and the hauntingly amazing Spec Ops: The Line are now bottom dollar and worth every penny of your time.
Seriously, check out Spec Ops: The Line if you haven’t yet. You are out of excuses now.
Rockstar and 2K Games aren’t the only companies out here taking advantage of the sale. Drink Box’s outstanding indie hit, Guacamelee, has been dropped to $5 as well, and so has Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light, one of my favorite games in the entire Tomb Raider franchise. You can’t really go wrong with Fat Princess either, if anybody is still playing it that is.
If you want something a bit older, be sure to give The Mark of Kri a try. This early PlayStation 2 sleeper hit still has it where it counts even if the visuals are a bit dated and muddy. You control Rau, a massive man with the face of a Disney character, and his cute design heavily clashes with the violent an barbaric stealth kills he can pull off. It begs to a HD remake, but sadly it wasn’t popular enough to do so. This PlayStation 2 Classic version is just going to have to do.
Anybody picking anything up this weekend? I failed miserably at not picking up Persona 4 Golden during this week’s Golden Week Sale, but luckily I don’t particularly need anything from this sale. Just walk away. Just walk away.
