It appears that the LG G3 will indeed have a new rear button design according to a newly leaked photo.
Last last week we saw some new cases that appeared to show the LG G3 would have a new rear button configuration. As with most case leaks you can never be sure how on point they are, but a newly leaked photo of the LG G3 appears to line up with those cases exactly.
The picture obtained by GSMArena shows off what we believe to be the LG G3 and the rear mounted buttons introduced on the LG G2 are still present, but look to be a bit more streamlined. It also appears that some form of new sensor has been added to the left of the camera lens while the flash remains on the right. We’re not sure what this sensor is, but it explains the open cross section on the cases we saw.
The sheet of paper the phone is laying on appears to have notes regarding the phone and mentions OIS+ and 16 and 32GB variants.
Currently we’re expecting the LG G3 to be announced in June with a launch to follow some time in July.
