Here’s What PlayStation Plus Looks Like in May

Well, May looks really good for PlayStation Plus subscribers who own the PS Vita, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Sony released a nice preview of the month to come for the Instant Game Collection’s fresh additions, which you can see at the head of this post.

PlayStation 4 owners will get Stick it to the Man!, a crazy game with a psychotic character who can use stickers to change and affect the world around him. It looks nuts, and it’s one I haven’t had a chance to play yet.

PlayStation 3 owners will get three separate titles. First is the highly underappreciated Puppeteer. Blame this game’s lack of notoriety on when it released: right before the console generation jump. It’s fantastic. Second is Pro Evo Soccer 2014, Konami’s yearly attempt to take the throne from FIFA once more. Remember when Pro Evo was undeniably the best?

The third? Skullgirls Encore, an update to the brutal 2D fighter from the west that was good enough to win the hearts of core arcade gamers in the east. Yep, there are Skullgirls arcade cabinets in Japan.

Finally, PS Vita owners also get a double offering. There’s Limbo, the once XBLA exclusive that challenges players with a tough difficulty, beautiful aesthetic and ultimately depressing storyline. And then there’s the puzzle game Surge Deluxe. This one I don’t know much about, but I remember a few puzzle fiend friends on Twitter going on about how great it is. Good thing it’s free next month, because I’m all over it.

May’s looking like another good month for the Instant Game Collection. Which title will you be looking forward to most?
