This iPhone 6 Concept Design is Too Awesome to be True

We’ve seen some impressive iPhone 6 concept designs over the past few months, but a new video from ConceptsiPhone pretty much blows everything else out of the water. This iPhone concept packs in everything we want from a new Apple phone and even adds some features we didn’t even realize we needed. It’s way to good to be true, but that’s the beauty of a concept: it can be whatever the artist wants it to be.

Let’s start with the design, which looks absolutely stunning but clearly draws some influence from Sony’s Xperia Z lineup. The device still looks distinctly like an iPhone, while at the same time offering a significant change from the current model. The imaginary phone is just 7.2 millimeters thick and offers a 16-megapixel UHD camera in the back and a 3-megapixel shooter up front. ConceptsiPhone also adds in a heart rate monitor, a notification light at the bottom of the device, and even an iStick stylus. If you’re not aware, however, you can already use the iPhone’s camera and LED as a heart rate monitor.

We don’t see much of what the artist imagines iOS 8 will offer in the concept video, though we do get a peek at a reimagined lock screen that appears to show the number of new notifications for several key apps. ConceptsiPhone also links to a second video for what it calls the iController, a gaming accessory that holds the iPhone 6, features a built-in projector, and lets you play PC games. Again, this seems a bit unrealistic but it’s awesome nonetheless.

You can check out both videos below, but don’t expect much of what you see here to make it into the actual iPhone 6 Apple unveils later this year.
