Snoop Dogg Will Narrate Call of Duty: Ghosts Multiplayer for Just $2.99

Infinity Ward is pushing out quite a few updates for Call of Duty: Ghosts in this coming weeks, and far and away the most exciting is the Snoop Dogg Voice Pack. For just $2.99, the patch will have Snoop Dogg narrate the game’s multiplayer mode while you play. I’m not sure if we are looking at the next “Horse Armor” or not, but this is the best (most absurd?) DLC you can ever buy for $2.99.

A trailer showing off Snoop’s voice recording gives a few examples of what the rapper will say in the game. “They allowed me to do my thing and put a little Snoopism on top of it.,” he says of the lines Infinity Ward wrote for him.

“My voice can be connected to a game that’s so hip and so hood. It’s the coolest game in the hood. All my homies play this game.”

Snoop Dogg is not the only celebrity getting a voice patch, though. The “Drill Instructor” voice pack will be released on the same day and feature R. Lee Ermey, best known from his brilliant performance in Stanley Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket. No preview has been made for that one yet, though.

Both patches will be available exclusively through Xbox Live, so don’t go looking for them just yet on PlayStation Network or PC. Who’s down?
