Once again, indie development star studio The Behemoth is developing a game that will be initially exclusive to an Xbox platform. “Game 4,” as it has been called, will be exclusive to the Xbox One, Destructoid learned at PAX East over the weekend.
For what it’s worth, most games from The Behemoth start life as an Xbox exclusive before making their way to other consoles. Castle Crashers, The Behemoth’s “Game 2,” was released for the Xbox 360 before making the rounds on PlayStation 3 and Steam. BattleBlock Theater, or “Game 3” if we are following the pattern, was also an Xbox 360 exclusive for some time before jumping to the PC.
Alien Hominid, its first game, started off as a Flash game of all things before jumping to the PlayStation 2, Gamecube and Xbox. An HD Remake is the only game released by The Behemoth which has remained on Xbox Live Arcade exclusively.
Destructoid also got a hold of some official art from the game, and it’s kind of creepy to say the least. The Behemoth says “Game 4” should be playable by the end of the year, but after how long it took to make BattleBlock Theater, we’ll take that with a grain of salt.
