The LG G2 was one of the most powerful smartphones to hit the market in 2013, and LG is expected to offer even better specs with a follow-up flagship device later this year. Now a newly leaked photo of the LG G3 appears to confirm previous rumors that the device will offer a 2560 × 1440-pixel 2K display.
The leaked LG G3 photo comes from Ubergizmo courtesy of what the site says is a “source that has proven reliable in the past.” The picture shows a cropped section of the phone’s screen showing its AnTuTu benchmark results, which reveal a Qualcomm processor and a pixel resolution of 2560 × 1440. Based on previous leaks we’re expecting the G3 to pack a 5.5-inch display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage with microSD support, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel front-facing shooter, and Android 4.4.2.
At this point the LG G3 seems all but confirmed thanks to multiple spec leaks and even one photo of its updated homescreen. The only question left is when the device will hit the market. The G2 was unveiled at an event last August in New York, though based on the latest leaks LG may not wait until August 2014 to announce its successor.
