Transistor is one of our most anticipated games of the year, and it turns out we won’t have to wait much longer to play it.

Developer Supergiant Games confirmed today that its follow-up to 2011’s Bastion will be hitting Steam and the PSN store on May 20. The team is planning a worldwide launch, with English voice and text as well as text in French, Spanish, Italian, German, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese.

The game will be available for $19.99 in North America and €18.99 / £14.99 in Europe.

If you happen to be lucky enough to be at PAX East like our own Senior Gaming Editor Joey Davidson, the team will be showing a near-final build of Transistor running on PlayStation 4. Alongside the news post, the team also debuted three new screenshots, seen in the gallery above, for us to salivate over for the next six weeks.
