Galaxy S5 Developer Edition Coming to Verizon

While the Galaxy S5 is rolling out all over the world today, we know at least one variant is already on its way.

It doesn’t come as any big surprise, but Samsung announced today that it will be releasing a Developer Edition of the Galaxy S5.  Not a lot of information was revealed beyond the fact it is destined for Verizon and a full run down of the specs.

Past developer editions do not different greatly from the mass released versions of the phone other than they feature an unlocked bootloader to make it easier for developers to work with the device. This is definitely a niche product, and they do not arrive cheaply either.

No word as of yet on the release date or price, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for the Galaxy S5 Developer Edition for you.
