Sonos Gets Even Better With Google Play Music Support

sonos google play music

Last month Sonos rolled out a revamped version of its Controller app, and today the updates continue with support for Google Play Music on Android. Starting now you should be able to pipe Google’s music streaming service through your Sonos speakers in 25 countries around the world including the U.S.

If you haven’t tried out Google Play Music for yourself there’s no better time to give it a shot. The streaming service lets you upload up to 20,000 songs to the cloud for free and listen whenever you want from your desktop of mobile device. You’ll also have access to over 22 million on-demand tracks, though you’ll have to pay for an All Access pass to unlock that feature.

Now you can listen to Google Play Music through your speakers through either Sonos or Google’s app. To get started all you’ll need to do is head to the Sonos services menu and log into your Google account. Then head into the Google Play Music app and start blasting your favorite songs.
