The hairs are standing on the back of my neck. Yacht Club Games has updated its Kickstarter page for the incoming Shovel Knight, stating that the game is “essentially complete” and ready for submission.

Not only do I want to really play the game, but this will be first time I get to play a Kickstarter game that I backed.

A delay earlier in March pushed the game into an April release, and Yacht Club Games states that this was to make sure that all of the builds could be released at the same time. The small delay worked wonders in giving the team time to iron out a few bugs.

These little changes have made huge improvements in these final days. It’s so close! As production winds down, we’ll have a stable candidate for each version of the game for submission: and then we can announce a final release date

I’ll be watching my inbox every day until I finally get a hold of this game. I’ll be enjoying it on my Nintendo 3DS. Which version did you sign up for?
