That didn’t take long. One reason why Telltale has been such a huge success, besides the fact that its games are really good, is that everyone gets a chance to play them. To date, The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us have been released for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, and iOS. The Walking Dead even extends to Ouya and Kindle Fire HDX.
Always looking for that next platform to support, Telltale has officially announced that it will be bringing its three biggest games to Amazon Fire TV, not even a day after it was first announced.
The Walking Dead: Season 1, thanks to its Kindle Fire HDX version, is already available with the announcement and $99 launch of the Fire TV. Soon to follow will be Telltale’s current game series, The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead: Season 2, and it also confirmed that its Game of Thrones will be supported once the indie adventure studio gets around to making it.

No word on Tales of the Borderlands yet. It doesn’t seem like the kind of franchise that speaks to an audience other than gamers, so I’m not so sure if it will extend beyond traditional platforms. What I would like to see though is Telltale’s Back to the Future game, which the studio made right before The Walking Dead, pushed it to the big leagues.
I’m sure most have already played through at least The Walking Dead: Season 1 by this point, but is there any interest for Telltale games through the Amazon Fire TV? These games are easily the highest profile releases announced so far.
