Vudu has become the first UltraViolet service to add Chromecast support, opening your digital movie collection to a whole new world of uses.

While Vudu has been supported for some time on the likes of the Roku family of devices, some folks just prefer to do everything from their phone. Thanks to the Chomecast SDK that was announced earlier this year, you can now easily move your digital films from your Android device to your television with the touch of a button.

Vudu announced the feature earlier this month as a beta program, but as of this weekend it is now included in the app in the Google Play Store.

The support for Chromecast is quickly growing since the SDK was announced in Feb., and it seems that $35 investment is becoming a better investment by the day because of it.
