HTC One M8 vs Samsung Galaxy S5

It’s the battle of the flagships! HTC’s brand new One (M8) is now official, which means it’s time to see how it stacks up against some of the competition, including Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S5. Both phones offer some of the best hardware on the market available today, including Snapdragon 801 processors, high-end cameras, top-notch software experiences and more.

Also of note, both will launch on all of the major carriers in the U.S. and, likely, abroad. That means that there’s a lot to consider, since you’ll be able to pick up either device when you’re ready to upgrade. We’ll let you read our full reviews later for our final opinion, but to get you started you can see how both of the phones stack up against one another on paper. What you won’t see, however, is the build design. The HTC One (M8) offers a stunning all aluminum body, while the Galaxy S5 employs IP-67 water and dust resistance, in addition to other niceties such as a heart rate monitor.
