Xbox One in the Woods -01

We’re still a few months away from the actual E3 presentations, but it’s interesting to think that the big three are likely already lining up their full showings. Microsoft, in particular, apparently has a full docket already prepped and ready to rock.

While chatting with fans on Twitter, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer indicated that their presentation is checking in at 90 minutes in length and features “very few execs.” Here’s the exchange in question.

Why is this good news?

Less talking heads means a stronger focus on games. I’d much rather see the likes of Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo roll out 90 minutes of in-game action than sit through more executives telling me why I need to throw money at them.

Bring on the games, right?’

E3 is still a ways off, but we’ll be covering every bit of it between now and the actual event. What are you looking forward to most from this year’s show?
