Far Cry 4 will be set in the Himalayas, according to a report from Eurogamer, which also adds that this was first confirmed via video game tipster Superannuation on Twitter.

While previous Far Cry titles have been set previously in locations more often associated with tropical climates, this doesn’t mean we should expect “Skyrim with guns.” The area around the Himalayan mountains spans a pretty broad part of Asia, giving the developers plenty of options for placement and variety.

Eurogamer writes that Ubisoft intends to show the game off at their E3 press conference this year, and that the primary gameplay elements of outpost and hunting will remain intact, though apparently elephants will be available as a method of transportation.

There’s no word yet on platforms, and current information suggests a release before the end of March 2015, when the Fiscal year rolls over.
