Someone looks to have gotten their hands-on a final retail version of HTC’s upcoming One (M8) refresh, and took the liberty of filming a really in-depth video. I mean, fourteen minutes worth of HTC’s upcoming flagship. The video is in German (I do not speak German), so I had no idea what the person was saying. However, that’s not really here nor there, because all that’s necessary is for us to feast our eyeballs on HTC’s aluminum beauty.
Via Android Police, the video gives viewers a pretty good idea about what to expect on March 25. We’ve already pretty much seen all there is to see about this handset. But actually seeing the device in action is a little different from spec sheets and looking at pictures of dummy units. So what does the video show off? Pretty much everything, from the device’s Duo camera capabilities, complete UI tour and a new power-saving mode, similar to what we saw in the Galaxy S5.
Pretty much the only thing we don’t know about HTC’s new device is when it’ll actually launch. There have been reports the handset would be available pretty soon after the big March 25 announcement; there are, unfortunately, murmurs suggesting it could be a Verizon exclusive for an undisclosed amount of time. Not something you want to see in a big flagship, but pretty much all the leaks have been attached with Verizon branding, so that could very well be true. Not long until we find out.
Check the video while it’s up. Chances are it could get pulled, though Android Police already points out a mirror.
