Virgin Mobile is currently offering Apple’s most recent iPhone models (iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c) for some pretty awesome off-contract prices. The Sprint MVNO, which offers unlimited minutes, messaging and data for $50 per month, has the 16GB iPhone 5s listed at $384.99 without a two-year contract. Up the internal storage to 32GB, and you’re looking at $454.99, and $524.00 for the 64GB model. If you purchase the device directly through Apple (unlocked and contract-free), the 16GB iPhone 5s starts at $649. Obviously there’s a huge price difference.
The catch is that the device will still technically be shackled to Virgin Mobile, but you’ll have yourself an iPhone 5s with no contract at a pretty reasonable price. The 16GB iPhone 5c, meanwhile, starts at $314.99 off-contract, while the 32GB model goes for $384.99 (the same price as the 16GB iPhone 5s). An unlocked and contract-free 16GB iPhone 5c starts at $549 through Apple.
If you’re interested in Virgin Mobile, these are some of the best prices we’ve seen the Apple’s flagship handsets, and the carrier’s plans certainly aren’t bad. In addition to the $50 unlimited plan, Virgin also offers a $40 plan with 1,200 minutes, unlimited data and messaging, and a $30 plan with 300 minutes and unlimited data and messaging. If you’re on a budget, now might be as good a time as ever to get an iPhone. It’s unclear how long the deals will go for, but it appears they’re Web exclusive and only for a limited time, so you better act fast.
