Sprint just followed in the footsteps of AT&T, T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular with an official release date and pricing for the Galaxy S5. The carrier will begin offering Samsung’s new flagship in white or black starting on April 11 for $199.99 with a new two-year contract, though it can be reserved today. In addition to the phone, Sprint will also sell the Gear 2 Neo, the Gear 2 and the Gear 2 Fit.
The Gear 2 Neo will set you back $199.99, the Gear 2 is priced at $299.99 and the Gear Fit will cost $199.99, those are the same prices offered by competing carriers and each will land in store on April 11. Sprint doesn’t have a promotion in place like AT&T, however, which is offering a $50 discount on the Gear 2 or Gear 2 Neo if either is purchased with the Galaxy S5.
Sprint is offering one incentive to buy the Galaxy S5, however. For a limited time, customers who purchase the device with either a Framily Plan or an Easy Pay plan will receive a free Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 tablet with activation and a two-year agreement. The tablet can be added to an account for as low as $10 per month – so you still have to pay for the data.
