This Guy Breaks into a Video Game Store Just to Sell Metal Gear

Now that the launch of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is spreading internationally, it looks like Konami might be asking a few of its employees to break into gaming stores in order to sell the title. The video above shows that happening in Micromania, a French chain of gaming shops owned by GameStop.

Of course, it’s all in good fun. The perp in the video is none other than Hideo Kojima, the man behind the Metal Gear franchise.

Actually, it’s an awesome little commercial. Kojima seems like a funny guy, and I especially love his brief video chat with friends clearly pumped to see him successfully infiltrate a retail space.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been catching a lot of flak for its length and price. Some are saying the title is little more than a costly demo, a point most consumers are taking to heart. I, personally, haven’t tried it yet.

Are you a Metal Gear fan? What do you think of the ad up top?
