The millions of you still gaming exclusively on your Xbox 360s will have to wait a little longer to get your Titanfall on.

EA has announced that the Bluepoint Games developed port of Titanfall for the Xbox 360 has been delayed once again until April 8th. Originally slated to launch on March 11th with the PC and Xbox One versions of the game, the 360’s iteration was delayed until March 25th a while back. Push that date out a bit more, friends.

The official reason for the delay? EA’s Patrick Söderlund write up a brief release, and here’s a part of it.

Now, I want to update everyone on Titanfall for Xbox 360 in development with Bluepoint Games.  I’ve been playing the game a lot, and it is fantastic.  But we see a few things that can be made even better, so we’re giving Bluepoint a little more time to do just that and deliver an epic Titanfall experience for Xbox 360 players. Titanfall for Xbox 360 will now be releasing on April 8 in North America, and beginning on April 11 in Europe.  The game will feature the same 6v6 gameplay, maps, modes, weapons and Burn Cards as the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we get the last details right.  See you on the Frontier.

What do you think? Are they polishing the title, or are they waiting for the Xbox One and PC versions to sell a little more?

Both narratives are interesting.

Are any of you Xbox 360 owners waiting to get your hands on Titanfall? How’s this news sound to you?
