Metal Gear Solid series creator Hideo Kojima had warned fans that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain would still be released really far into the future, but signs are showing it might only be a year away. The Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes registration website clearly states an “Early 2015” release date.
Registering your copy of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes at this website will land you free batch of DLC once Konami releases The Phantom Pain, and doing so also reveals an interesting statement saying “come back early 2015 to claim your downloadable content.”
Of course, this is not official, and delays or other statements could shoot down this comment in a heartbeat, but it’s still something to look forward too. Any other dreams or hopes for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain? I am holding out for a PC version, and Hideo Kojima does say he supports the idea.
Metal Gear Solid V:Ground Zeroes launches today on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
