Sorry trophy hunters. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will feature no Platinum Trophy, meaning that if you want to complete the game, you’ll just have to do it just for the fun of it.
Series producer Hideo Kojima confirmed the news on Twitter, stating that it was due to Sony’s policies that the game will not feature the coveted reward.
The reason GZ doesn't have Platinum Trophy in PS4 is due to SONY's regulation. They won't allow us to have them for non-full price game.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has taken a little bit of flak for being a “non-full price game.” Despite being the comfortable price of $19.99, some fans are angry from reports of the game being beatable in only two hours and consisting of only a single mission with several side-missions available from the end. Kojima responded by saying that the purpose of this game is to be short and replayable.
Others believe they are paying for an extended demo of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain; but, honestly, most Metal Gear Solid games can be beaten in a similar time frame if the cutscenes are skipped.
So PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners, when you complete Snake’s two hour mission and complete all the extra modes, don’t blame Konami when you don’t find your Platinum Trophy on your imaginary shelf. That’s all Sony, there.
