Titanfall has Aimbot Cheaters; Respawn Logging and Rooting Out

by Joey Davidson | March 13, 2014March 13, 2014 2:30 pm PST

People are cheating in Titanfall. The game has only been out for a few days, and a community of cheaters has already created and made use of an aimbot.

Respawn is aware of the issue, and they’ve issued a few tweets in order to calm potentially frustrated legitimate users.

I just don’t get it, man. I’ve never really understood the desire to cheat in a video game. There’s nothing on the line, here. It’s a collection of people playing for fun, especially in the first few days of release.

Why cheat? Why be the type of gamer that ruins experiences for others?

Respawn seems bent on getting rid of this malcontents, as well they should be. Hopefully it’s sorted out in the coming weeks. Nothing hurts a blossoming gaming community quite like a pack of cheaters.
